Our Core Projects

Govind Shala

Govind Shala is the educational initiative under the Monachem Foundation, dedicated to making education accessible and meaningful for underprivileged and vulnerable children. What began in 2013 with just 20 students has now supported over 100 children in completing their education and pursuing professional careers.

Volunteer mentors guide and inspire these students through every stage of learning—fostering both academic and personal growth. Beyond classroom education, Govind Shala nurtures creativity through extracurricular activities, cultural celebrations, and life skills development. We also provide support with basic amenities, infrastructure, and medical aid—ensuring every child gets the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream big.

Educational Kit

Monachem Foundation has introduced this initiative to support children with special needs by providing tools that enhance their developmental skills. Children are engaged in stimulating activities like puzzles, drawing, and craftwork—designed to improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and visual tracking.

Each kit is thoughtfully curated with age-appropriate, sensory-friendly items to support holistic learning and development. The program not only helps children strengthen essential abilities but also brings them joy and confidence through interactive play. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, empowered, and seen.

Rehabilitation Center

Monachem Foundation has always been a beacon of hope for those in need. In 2018, we launched a life-changing initiative to support children and adults who were either born without limbs or lost them due to accidents. Through our rehabilitation efforts, we have provided prosthetic hands to help individuals regain independence and dignity.

Two successful camps were conducted in 2018 and 2019, empowering over 300 beneficiaries to carry out daily tasks with confidence and ease. The impact has been transformative—restoring mobility, self-reliance, and hope. Looking ahead, the Foundation is expanding this initiative by providing prosthetic legs as well, further enhancing the mobility and confidence of many. This effort not only uplifts physical movement but also reignites the spirit of independence, inclusion, and personal growth in every child we support. We continue to build a future where ability, not disability, defines opportunity.

Grocery Kit

Monachem Foundation started this project to support children with special needs and their families during difficult times. Many parents had lost their jobs and were struggling to meet basic needs. We reached out to over 200 families and provided essential grocery kits to ease their daily challenges. This small support brought big relief to 50+ families, helping them care for their children with dignity.

The initiative was more than just a response to crisis—it was an act of compassion and solidarity. By helping families meet their basic needs, we allowed them to focus on their children’s health, education, and emotional well-being. Each kit represented our belief that no child should be left behind due to financial hardship.

We continue to expand this effort to reach more families in need—strengthening communities with care, respect, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Project Special 5000 (Assistive Devices)

Monachem Foundation launched this project to support children with physical disabilities by providing assistive mobility solutions like wheelchairs. The goal is to help these children move independently and live with dignity, confidence, and joy. So far, we have distributed around 500+ wheelchairs, creating life-changing impact not just for the children—but also their families.

This project uplifts lives by breaking barriers of mobility and enabling access to school, play, and community. Parents express immense relief and gratitude, witnessing their children gain freedom and self-reliance. Every wheelchair delivered is a step toward inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunity.

As a long-term initiative, Project Special 5000 continues to bring mobility, hope, and smiles.
