Mr. Dilip Shah is the founder and managing director of Monachem Group, India. He founded Monachem on 8th January 1974  & has more than 45 years of experience in the global speciality chemicals industry.

Mr. Dilip Shah has a degree of Bachelor in Science (Chemistry) from Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), India. He also had the opportunity to lead various chemical associations of India.

His key strengths include :

• Entrepreneurial by nature for starting new ventures & identifying new opportunities
• Wide knowledge & network with the global chemical industry
• Leadership with compassion of taking people along

His current role at Monachem Group :

• Mentoring & overall direction to the leaders of the business group
• Driving new business development projects
• leading Monachem Foundation, a corporate social responsibility initiative for upliftment of villages within India

Besides being a family man, he also loves reading & being amongst nature.

Mr. Shamik Shah is the 2nd generation  involved in the family business. He finished his Chemical Engineering from Pune University  and accomplished his  MBA from University of South Florida, Tampa. 

In 2003, he was given the choice by his father to come back to India and join the business, which he excitedly did as he was keen to contribute towards development of India through the business besides wealth creation.

His key strengths include :

• Finding fresh and innovative ways for building a global brand
• Futuristic approach for scaling up business in a structured way
• Creating innovative culture & empowering team through a coaching style leadership

His current role at Monachem Group :

• Leading & driving the ambitious vision 2025 of Monachem Group
• Identification of strategic opportunities for global business expansion
• Strengthening credibility & identity of Monachem as a innovative and inspiring global brand

Shamik is passionate about innovation and has invested last 20 years studying more than 100 innovative companies across multiple sectors. Being fond of running, he has also crossed finishing lines of marathon & triathlon. He also had the opportunity to lead Rotary Club of his city as a president.
