OUR CORE PROJECTS

Govind Shala

Govind shala

Govind Shala falls under the educational arm of Monachem foundation, giving hope to the underprivileged and vulnerable children to make education accessible & relevant to fulfill their aspirations. Started with just 20 children in the year 2013, today the project has helped more than 100 students to complete their education and fulfill the dreams to become professionals. The children are helped through group of volunteers who Guides & mentor them to complete their education.

Apart from educational activities, the children are also introduced to various extra-curricular activates for nurturing creativity and overall development. Apart from celebrating important events & festivals, we also support them to get basic amenities, infrastructure and medical aid.

Educational Kit Project

Monachem Foundation has introduced this project to fulfill the objective of helping children with special needs. Children are engaged with different types of activities like puzzles, drawings and other activities, helping them to enhance their fine motor skills, concentration span & vision. A specially designed kit is provided to them, consisting of items that will help these special children improve their fine motor skills.

Rehabilitation Center for Physically Challenged

Monachem foundation has always been a ray of hope for the people in need. In the year 2018, a new project was initiated for the children as well as adults who lost their hands or were handicapped from birth were helped with "Prosthetic hands". The foundation has organised 2 camps, in the year 2018 and 2019 for the individuals who are disabled with their hands and helped them with prosthetics, which aided them immensely in carrying out their day to day acivities.

This project has brought hope and happiness to more than 300 people. Moving forward, the foundation is all set to introduce 'Prosthetic legs' at the Rehab Centre.

Covid-19 - Grocery Kit Project

Monachem Foundation initiated a this project to reach the children and families with special needs during the world wide Covid pandemic. The project has touched around 200 families of children with special needs by providing them with "Grocery packets", as the families were not able to fulfill the basic needs as many lost their jobs. The project brought great relief to these 5O families of the children. 90 Masks were also distributed among the children and also explained the seriousness of the current pandemic situation.

Project Wheelchair

The Foundation has introduced this project with aim to help the children with disability. Under this project wheelchairs are distributed to children with disabilities, empowering them to live their lives without any dependability on other for mobility. So far around 50 wheelchairs have been distributed among these children, bringing a huge smile on their faces as well as of their parents. This is a long-term project of the foundation.
